BEAT is a short film which documents a day in the life of a man who appears to be walking a paper-thin line between hopelessness and euphoria. It is about the sprawling chaos and oppressive loneliness that can coexist in the city, and a man who finds his withdrawal from the world challenged by a visceral force.
BEAT stars Ben Whishaw (Skyfall, Cloud Atlas, The Hour) and was shot by Stuart Bentley who recently DoP’d Wasteland (Summer 2013). The film was edited by Amanda James who has cut award-winning music videos for the likes of Jay-Z and LCD Soundsystem.
